GDS Special Events

Grace Day School first-graders pose proudly with a letter from President Obama, to whom they wrote with welcomes to the White House and their hopes on what he will accomplish for our country and schools during his term. He replied with a personal letter from Washington and a photo of himself. In this photo the children and their teacher, Karen Corrente, are standing in front of an American Flag that was sent to Grace Day School Students from an American solider serving in Iraq. Grace students had sent him goodies and letters during Valentine's Day.

The Grace Day School Fashion Show was held on March 12th at the Riviera in Massapequa. The 7th and 8th grade girls modeled fashions as well as some Grace Day School Teachers. The night was a lot of fun and a great fundraiser.
