NYSSMA
Students wishing to perform at the NYSSMA festival should see Mrs. Greenberg as soon as possible for paperwork and further information. Paper work and information can be downloaded in the resources area of this website.
NYSSMA FAQ'S:
1) Students choosing to perform at the NYSSMA festival need to purchase 2 original copies of their chosen solo. One for themselves and one for the judge.
2) Students need to memorize scales and play them for the judge.
3) Students need to be able to sight read music they have never seen before for the judge.
4) Students must get their NYSSMA form and checks for payment to Mrs. Greenberg by January 23, 2009. Late forms cannot be accepted.
5) Students must perform an approved solo that is listed in the current NYSSMA manual. See Mrs. Greenberg to check the NYSSMA Manual.
