5K Run for Reading
Sunday, May 18, 2008, Wantagh Park, Wantagh, New York

RUN FOR READING SPONSORSHIPS AND VOLUNTEERS:
If you are planning on being a "Corporate Underwriter" or a "Platinum Sponsor"($500 level) for the Run For Reading (May 18, 2008), we need your completed sponsor form by Thursday, April 10th so that your company name or family name will be printed on the registration form. (The payment may follow at a later date.....but we need to go to print with the form and don't want to exclude anyone.) Drop it at the office, marked attn: Colleen Rafsol, Run for Reading

Also, anyone looking to get involved at school, the "Run" is a great event. We need lots of help over the next few weeks and especially on race day. Call or email:.ncrafsol@optonline.net or 631-382-8086.

We are pleased to announce that Grace Day School will once again host its Annual 5K "Run for Reading" and Children's 1/2 Mile Fun Run. The event will take place on Sunday, May 18, 2008 at Wantagh Park. Each year this event attracts approximately 400 runners and walkers. The "Run", which was established in honor of Jason Massett, helps raise funds for Grace Day School. In past years, the "Run for Reading" has been a huge success thanks to our sponsors, enabling us to purchase books, educational materials and a state-of-the-art multimedia center for our library.

Proceeds from this year's "Run for Reading" will be used to improve programs, facilities, and activities for all of our students and dedicated faculty.

Please join us for fun and fundraising at this important event. It's a great way to spend time with your family, get some exercise and raise money for Grace Day School. A variety of sponsorship levels are available, and your donation will help to ensure a successful race and a successful future for our children. We invite you to print a sponsorship form and join us in our fundraising efforts. Be sure to join us on May 18th for an enjoyable morning.

Annual Golf Outing

Dear Friends,

It's that time again. First, I would like to thank everyone for the success of our last Grace Day School Golf Outing. Due to everyone's help, dedication, and kindness our last outing was not only fun for all, but was also successful for the school. We are currently making all the arrangements for this year's Golf Outing which we expect to be an even greater success.

This year's Golf Outing will be held on June 9th, 2008 at the Indian Hills Country Club in Northport.

Our goal for this year's Outing is to make this event the most successful to date. Given the success of all past Golf Outings, that will be no small achievement. I am reaching out to the Grace Day Community, Sponsors, Participants, and Volunteers to help us again and make this year's event the most successful.

All sponsors will receive a Custom Embroidered Flag which is a great way to give recognition to companies, local businesses, children, teachers, family members and significant causes. Please return your sponsorship forms early to allow enough time for your flag to be customized. Since this year's Golf Outing is scheduled at the beginning of the 2008 golf season, we anticipate a large number of golfers. Please make sure to get your golf registration forms in early to reserve your position/foursome.
